Occupational Health and Safety Policy

The Oman Logistics Academy is committed to providing and maintaining sound environmental practices and promoting sustainable development. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, vendors, trainees, and visitors to the company’s facilities and training centers, and is easily accessible to all interested parties.
The Oman Logistics Academy commits to: :
- Preventing workplace injuries and occupational illnesses.
- Providing advice and support to company employees regarding occupational health and safety.
- Achieving continuous improvement through monitoring and reviewing measurable, risk-based objectives and goals.
- Complying with all relevant occupational health and safety legislation, and allocating sufficient resources to maintain a healthy, safe, and supportive work environment.
- Providing adequate information and training to employees to enable them to perform their occupational health and safety roles and responsibilities effectively.
- Holding all management levels accountable for the health and safety behavior of their subordinates.
- Reporting, investigating, and recording incidents to identify root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitoring, reviewing, and improving the occupational health and safety policy to ensure its relevance to the nature of the company’s activities and health and safety risks, and to ensure the ongoing well-being of all employees.
The Occupational Health and Safety Committee serves as the guiding body leading the health and safety agenda, responsible for agreeing on action plans and developing objectives and goals aligned with this policy.
The occupational health and safety policy will be formally reviewed annually, or upon significant changes, whichever comes first.
This policy is available to all interested and affected parties upon request.
